Suna Said is the Founder and CEO of Nima Capital, a venture capital firm focused on first mover companies using technology to disrupt large industries around the world. Said is also on the Board of: Harlem Village Academies, Woodrow Wilson Foundation, Chopra Foundation and is the Vice Chairman of the Board for ONEHOPE.
Said received the Honoree Award for helping create the Mindfulness Program for the K-12 Program at Harlem Village Academies. In addition, she initiated the Woodrow Wilson Foundation’s National Scholarship Program for Muslim Women. In 2015, Said was honored by Girls Inc. at the Women of Achievement luncheon. She has endowed two full scholarships at Columbia University in perpetuity. Said received her MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and her BA in Communications Studies from the University of California Los Angeles.
